Our paraffin waxes are true all-rounders. While competitve products are often subject to limitations, paraffin waxes from Hywax enable the production to every conceivable type of candle. After all, they have been especially developed for this purpose regardless of which size, shape, colour, fragrance or production process.
Hywax is ensuring the future by investing in Fischer-Tropsch waxes (FT waxes for short). As petroleum based waxes become less abundant, we are improving our supply of FT waxes. This is why we are increasingly offering our customers FT waxes in addition to our petroleum based waxes. Fischer-Tropsch waxes are produced in a fully snythetic porcess and hence independently of oil. At the same time, they have the quality and properties of paraffins – and can be used with equal versatility. In addition to this, FT waxes are the purest raw materials that can be used for the production of candles.

Sonneborn multiwax
As the top global microcrystalline wax producer, Hywax microcrystalline wax is comparable to Sonneborn Microcrystalline wax products. For example, Hywax 2528 is a great alternative to Sonneborn Multiwax W-445.
Fischer Tropsch hard wax (FT hard wax)
Hywax manufactures all kinds of waxes such as microcrystalline wax, universal paraffin, wick wax to Fisher Tropsch Hard Wax (FT Hard Wax). FT Hard Wax are premium hard waxes manufactured using GTL technology with high melting point, low viscosity and superior hardness.
Vybar 103 (Varaplus 06)
Vybar 103, similar to Varaplus 06, is a candle wax additive that is often added to improve fragrance oil retention while providing a glossier and firmer wax surface which helps to ease the removal of moulded candles.
